Refund and Returns Policy for Original Art

Overview

Thank you for purchasing an original piece of art. Each artwork is unique, and I take great care to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition. Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of these pieces, my refund and return policy is strict and subject to specific conditions, particularly related to shipping and handling.

Returns and Refunds

Please note that I do not accept returns or provide refunds unless there is verified damage or loss during transport. To qualify for a refund, you must follow the procedures outlined below:

Shipping Damage or Loss

If your artwork is damaged or lost during shipping, it is crucial to document and report the issue immediately. The following steps must be taken:

Externally Visible Damage or Loss:

If damage or loss is visible upon delivery, please note the waybill or transfer document with specific details of the damage or loss at the time of receipt.

Non-Visible Damage or Loss:

If the damage or loss is not apparent until after the package is opened, you must submit a written complaint to DHL within 7 days of receiving the goods.

Investigation with DHL:

You are responsible for initiating an investigation with DHL to confirm the issue. This includes obtaining an official statement from DHL, along with photo and video evidence of the damage or loss. Only with this documentation will you be eligible for a refund.

Required Information for Claims

When submitting a claim, you must provide the following information to me:

A copy of the invoice and proof of payment.
A copy of the invoice and proof of payment.
Transport reference number.
Route details (origin and destination).
Copy of the waybill.
Date when the shipment was collected and delivered (if applicable).
A description of the damaged or lost goods, including the weight of the affected part.
Details of how and by whom the damage was discovered.
Your contact information.
Photographs of the packaging and the damage to the goods, preferably taken before unloading when the shipment is still in the transport unit. Photos should clearly show the damage and, if possible, the cause of the damage.
Substantiated value, including purchase costs, estimates for repair, etc.
This information, along with all necessary enclosures, must be provided to me within 7 days of receiving the goods as well as the full outcome of the investigation with DHL.

Non-Returnable Items

Please note that once a piece of art is delivered and no damage or loss is reported within the required timeframe and manner, it cannot be returned or refunded.

Please note that refunds will not be issued for buyer's remorse or changes of mind. Each piece of art is thoroughly described and photographed prior to purchase, and it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure they are satisfied before completing the transaction.

In the event of a dispute over the authenticity of the artwork, I reserve the right to seek verification from a recognized expert or authority. Refunds will only be considered if the artwork is proven to be inauthentic and this claim is substantiated by an independent third party.

I take comprehensive photographs of each artwork, including its packaging, prior to shipping. These photos will be used to compare against any claims of damage. If the reported damage does not align with these pre-shipment photos, the refund claim will be denied.

I reserve the right to issue a partial refund based on the extent of the damage. The amount refunded will reflect the decrease in the artwork's value due to the damage. This will be determined after a thorough assessment, taking into account the severity of the damage and the potential costs for repair, if applicable.

All disputes regarding refunds and returns will be governed by the laws of Ukraine, and any legal action must be filed within this jurisdiction.

All sales are considered final upon completion of the transaction, except in the case of verified damage or loss during shipping. By completing a purchase, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
